Ten-year-old Edward is looking for ghosts, and is determined to find some in Lark's Hall, the old people's home run by his parents, even if it means waiting around the resident's rooms for them to die and then turn into a spirit. While doing so, he comes to know an old magician who calls himself The Amazing Clarence, and begins to make friends with him. It's a sweet, gently paced film filled with great British actors.
Contains one use of strong language and suicide references.
