Synopsis

Rudyard Kipling’s beloved story of a young boy raised in the Indian jungle by wolves gets a visually lavish live-action adaptation. Despite friendships with loyal bear Baloo and Bagheera the panther, the jungle remains a dangerous place for Mowgli, full of nasty predators. Under threat from vicious man-eating tiger Shere Khan and sinister serpent Baa, Mowgli is forced on an epic but dangerous journey of self-discovery. With an all-encompassing and immersive environment to play with, combining live-action with CGI, the film mixes spectacle with heart and a sincere message around destruction of the environment. Fans of the animated version’s classic tunes will also be relieved to hear they receive another outing.
