Synopsis

Terrier Max and the other animals in his block spend every day passing time, longing for their owners to return home. However, when Max’s beloved owner Katie brings rescue dog Duke back with her one day, Max feels betrayed. Forced to share his routine, Max tries to remain top dog but in his efforts he ends up getting himself and Duke lost. Totally out of his depth, Max relies on Duke’s street smarts to help them avoid capture by animal control officers. They end up in even hotter water when they become involved with an underground gang of abandoned pets on a mission for revenge against their former owners.
