Synopsis

Since she won the Great British Bake Off in 2015, Nadiya Hussain has become a popular TV chef. But she has been privately dealing with anxiety, including panic attacks which she has experienced since childhood. Like many people struggling with similar mental health issues, she had never had a clinical diagnosis. In this hour-long documentary, Nadiya begins a course of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help her understand the issues that cause her anxiety. She meets with other people who are also experiencing anxiety and talks with schools and experts who are trying to learn more about how we can treat it. It’s an open and sometimes raw account of a woman’s search for answers and help that should resonate with many people dealing with mental health issues.
