Synopsis

This classic Disney musical animation is loosely inspired by one of the stories associated with the Middle Eastern folk tales collection 'One Thousand and One Nights'. Beautiful Princess Jasmine runs away from the royal palace when her father, the Sultan, tells her she must marry in three days. Wandering the streets she meets cheerful tearaway Aladdin and his monkey Abu, who in contrast have a very humble but happy-go-lucky lifestyle. They come from different worlds, but destiny brings them together in the most unlikely magical way, thanks to a mysterious cave of treasures and a lamp that can grant three wishes. Together with a hilarious Genie and a flying carpet, Aladdin and Jasmin must find a way to stop the Sultan from falling under the spell of his spiteful advisor Jafar.
