Although you may know him best from the recent blockbuster Batman Begins, the famous Caped Crusader has been the subject of plenty of movies before - and this one dates back to the series of Bat-flicks made during the 80s and 90s, being the sequel to 1989's Batman. In fact, some fans consider this is actually the better of the two films, in which as our hero sets out to save Gotham City from the clutches of the deranged Penguin and the seductive Catwoman, with trademark visual flourishes from director Tim Burton.
Michael Keaton is Batman and Jack Nicholson is The Joker in this movie version that reclaimed Batman's brooding menace after the camp 60s TV show.
