Synopsis

Beautifully bringing to life both the 1960s and 1980s, Only Yesterday is an anime classic of schooldays nostalgia. At a crossroads in her life, bored Japanese office worker Taeko heads for the countryside and, in doing so, stirs up many forgotten memories. Flashing back and forward between her past and present, Taeko begins to wonder if she has been true to her childhood dreams.
