Discover simple filmmaking strategies to enrich teaching across any subject in One-Shot Filmmaking for Secondary.
Designed for teachers of students aged 11-16, this free course introduces a simple filmmaking strategy that requires little in the way of experience, equipment or technical know-how. The activity can be completed in minutes using any device with a camera, making one-shot filmmaking a fast and versatile technique – whether you want to kickstart learning in a new topic or create fun assessment tasks.
From history and maths to science and PE, this course offers practical advice on bringing filmmaking into your subject. As you learn, you’ll be able to share your experiences with fellow educators and put your questions to the course experts. You’ll discover examples of one-shot filmmaking in action and get access to free downloadable lesson resources that will equip you with everything you need to get started with your students.
To support your filmmaking work in the course and into the future, we’ve launched our Filmmaking Forum – a dedicated space to share experiences, celebrate successes, ask questions and discuss your filmmaking plans with fellow learners and Into Film experts. Just click on the link to join (you will need to create an account and provide some information about your organisation if you have not already done so). We can’t wait to hear from you!
