Synopsis

This short film is a creative, almost surreal, but funny look at the perceptions of Indians in London through the eyes of two British cousins of Indian descent. As Latifah and Himli wander the streets of the capital they sardonically discuss how the British-Indian community has assimilated whilst gently poking fun at some of the more eccentric parts of their own culture. A charming and unique entry point for young people to begin discussions around diaspora and integration.

What our educators say

"Some of them saw a clip from Wakolda (The German Doctor) on TV recently and really wanted to watch it. So I thought I’d take a chance, not expecting them to watch the whole film but the majority were absolutely gripped. "
